Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2021 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 52 recorded sales of the 2021 FORD EDGE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $13,250, from $5,700 to $16,850. That is 137% above the $5,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,850 a good price for this 2021 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

1171 comparable 2021 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,600, spanning $3,550 to $10,500. At $16,850 this one went 201% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD EDGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AZ - CHANDLER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 74,119 miles high for a 2021 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 66,934 miles across 1171 sales, so at 74,119 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a clear-az mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 FORD EDGE was sold on a clear-az. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
