Question 1

What do front end 2020 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1316 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EDGE with front end damage, the median was $4,300, from $3,200 to $6,800. That is 8% below the $4,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,850 a good price for this 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2916 comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,300 to $8,000. At $3,850 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EDGE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD EDGE's pre-damage retail value at $21,264. It sold for $3,850 — 82% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD EDGE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 65,784 miles high for a 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 73,879 miles across 2916 sales, so at 65,784 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD EDGE has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
