Question 1

What do hail 2020 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 108 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EDGE with hail damage, the median was $6,000, from $3,975 to $9,700. That is 30% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,100 a good price for this 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2985 comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,275 to $7,650. At $9,100 this one went 98% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD EDGE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This FORD EDGE has hail and storm damage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - CASEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 41,939 miles high for a 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 74,940 miles across 2985 sales, so at 41,939 miles this one sits 44% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
