Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2020 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 81 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EDGE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $5,000, from $3,650 to $9,100. That is 8% above the $4,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,900 a good price for this 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2970 comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,300 to $7,800. At $7,900 this one went 70% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD EDGE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 86,210 miles high for a 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 74,185 miles across 2970 sales, so at 86,210 miles this one sits 16% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was SANTANDER. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
