What do mechanical 2019 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Across 87 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EDGE with mechanical damage, the median was $5,600, from $3,400 to $10,600. That is 27% above the $4,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2019 FORD EDGE?

2935 comparable 2019 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,400, spanning $3,250 to $7,100. At $4,900 this one went 11% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EDGE sell for?

The insurer put this 2019 FORD EDGE's pre-damage retail value at $13,040. It sold for $4,900 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EDGE?

This 2019 FORD EDGE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EDGE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

This FORD EDGE has mechanical and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
