What do minor dent/scratches 2019 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Across 90 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EDGE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,800, from $3,350 to $9,000. That is 8% above the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2019 FORD EDGE?

2912 comparable 2019 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,250 to $7,200. At $8,000 this one went 80% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this FORD EDGE?

This 2019 FORD EDGE was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in CT - HARTFORD SPRINGFIELD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 89,746 miles high for a 2019 FORD EDGE?

Comparable 2019 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 84,951 miles across 2912 sales, so at 89,746 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
