Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 531 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD EDGE with front end damage, the median was $3,825, from $3,100 to $5,800. That is 2% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2017 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

1484 comparable 2017 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $6,025. At $3,950 this one went 1% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title-tx mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD EDGE was sold on a salvage title-tx. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was TEXAS FARM BUREAU. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 FORD EDGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 FORD EDGE was listed at IAAI as lot 39937279 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
