Question 1

What do mechanical 2016 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EDGE with mechanical damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,150 to $4,500. That is 4% below the $3,738 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EDGE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - ASSONET. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 56,912 miles high for a 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 97,485 miles across 955 sales, so at 56,912 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD EDGE has mechanical and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2016 FORD EDGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
