Question 1

What do hail 2016 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 51 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EDGE with hail damage, the median was $4,425, from $3,400 to $6,300. That is 20% above the $3,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a mb-salvageable-manitoba mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EDGE was sold on a mb-salvageable-manitoba. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 119,675 miles high for a 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 97,537 miles across 944 sales, so at 119,675 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD EDGE has hail and right rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this FORD EDGE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in MANITOBA - WINNIPEG. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
