Question 1

Was $4,425 a good price for this 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

963 comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,075 to $5,400. At $4,425 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This FORD EDGE has unknown and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Who sold this 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Progressive Casualty Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2016 FORD EDGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with unknown damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2016 FORD EDGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 FORD EDGE was listed at IAAI as lot 37705618 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 2FMPK3J96GBB30599?

Accepted Answer

2FMPK3J96GBB30599 identifies this specific 2016 FORD EDGE with a 2.0l i4 fi dohc 16v nf4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
