Question 1

Was $6,275 a good price for this 2015 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

179 comparable 2015 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,500, spanning $3,350 to $6,300. At $6,275 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 83,208 miles high for a 2015 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 112,686 miles across 179 sales, so at 83,208 miles this one sits 26% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2015 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was USAA Guidewire. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2015 FORD EDGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6
