Question 1

What do side 2018 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 150 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD EDGE with side damage, the median was $3,700, from $3,100 to $6,000. That is 6% below the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD EDGE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 79,109 miles high for a 2018 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 91,602 miles across 1559 sales, so at 79,109 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this FORD EDGE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in NS - ELMSDALE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Did this 2018 FORD EDGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
