Question 1

What do rear 2017 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 77 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD EDGE with rear damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,050 to $5,400. That is 1% above the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD EDGE was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 88,500 miles high for a 2017 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 93,907 miles across 1496 sales, so at 88,500 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD EDGE has rear and right rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this FORD EDGE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - STOUFFVILLE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
