Question 1

What do front end 2018 DODGE DURANGO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 708 recorded sales of the 2018 DODGE DURANGO with front end damage, the median was $4,500, from $3,200 to $8,600. That is 9% below the $4,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,900 a good price for this 2018 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

1618 comparable 2018 DODGE DURANGO listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,250 to $10,700. At $7,900 this one went 60% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE DURANGO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 DODGE DURANGO's pre-damage retail value at $22,237. It sold for $7,900 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 DODGE DURANGO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this DODGE DURANGO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CAHOKIA HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 133,513 miles high for a 2018 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 DODGE DURANGO listings at auction averaged 106,835 miles across 1618 sales, so at 133,513 miles this one sits 25% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
