Question 1

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2018 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

1618 comparable 2018 DODGE DURANGO listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,250 to $10,700. At $6,500 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE DURANGO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 DODGE DURANGO's pre-damage retail value at $18,725. It sold for $6,500 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 DODGE DURANGO was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 DODGE DURANGO. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This DODGE DURANGO has frame damage and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 155,347 miles high for a 2018 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 DODGE DURANGO listings at auction averaged 106,835 miles across 1618 sales, so at 155,347 miles this one sits 45% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
