Question 1

What do front end 2017 DODGE DURANGO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 504 recorded sales of the 2017 DODGE DURANGO with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,200 to $6,925. That is 4% below the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,300 a good price for this 2017 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

1204 comparable 2017 DODGE DURANGO listings sold at auction for a median of $4,150, spanning $3,200 to $7,100. At $3,300 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE DURANGO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 DODGE DURANGO's pre-damage retail value at $15,803. It sold for $3,300 — 79% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 DODGE DURANGO. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 DODGE DURANGO was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 122,328 miles high for a 2017 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 DODGE DURANGO listings at auction averaged 120,091 miles across 1204 sales, so at 122,328 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
