Question 1

What do front end 2017 DODGE DURANGO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 504 recorded sales of the 2017 DODGE DURANGO with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,200 to $6,925. That is 4% below the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 DODGE DURANGO was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this DODGE DURANGO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in SD - LENNOX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 1,300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 DODGE DURANGO. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This DODGE DURANGO has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 185,049 miles high for a 2017 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 DODGE DURANGO listings at auction averaged 120,018 miles across 1203 sales, so at 185,049 miles this one sits 54% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
