Question 1

What do hail 2017 DODGE DURANGO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2017 DODGE DURANGO with hail damage, the median was $4,450, from $3,300 to $7,200. That is 7% above the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ab-active-alberta mean for this DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 DODGE DURANGO was sold on a ab-active-alberta. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 DODGE DURANGO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This DODGE DURANGO has hail and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Where was this DODGE DURANGO located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKYVIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Is 94,966 miles high for a 2017 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 DODGE DURANGO listings at auction averaged 119,940 miles across 1214 sales, so at 94,966 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
