Question 1

What do rear end 2017 DODGE DURANGO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 128 recorded sales of the 2017 DODGE DURANGO with rear end damage, the median was $4,500, from $3,150 to $7,000. That is 8% above the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2017 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

1236 comparable 2017 DODGE DURANGO listings sold at auction for a median of $4,150, spanning $3,200 to $7,100. At $3,900 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE DURANGO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 DODGE DURANGO's pre-damage retail value at $9,016. It sold for $3,900 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this DODGE DURANGO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This DODGE DURANGO has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 180,799 miles high for a 2017 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 DODGE DURANGO listings at auction averaged 120,093 miles across 1236 sales, so at 180,799 miles this one sits 51% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
