Question 1

What do hail 2016 DODGE DURANGO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2016 DODGE DURANGO with hail damage, the median was $4,225, from $3,150 to $8,800. That is 8% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2016 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

550 comparable 2016 DODGE DURANGO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,150 to $6,200. At $6,700 this one went 72% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 DODGE DURANGO was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This DODGE DURANGO has hail and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this DODGE DURANGO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CAHOKIA HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 101,042 miles high for a 2016 DODGE DURANGO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 DODGE DURANGO listings at auction averaged 126,899 miles across 550 sales, so at 101,042 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
