Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 DODGE CHARGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 44 recorded sales of the 2017 DODGE CHARGER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $6,600, from $3,600 to $16,100. That is 36% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,600 a good price for this 2017 DODGE CHARGER?

Accepted Answer

1223 comparable 2017 DODGE CHARGER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,200 to $11,375. At $3,600 this one went 26% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE CHARGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 DODGE CHARGER's pre-damage retail value at $10,806. It sold for $3,600 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 DODGE CHARGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this DODGE CHARGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 DODGE CHARGER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 154,597 miles high for a 2017 DODGE CHARGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 DODGE CHARGER listings at auction averaged 106,732 miles across 1223 sales, so at 154,597 miles this one sits 45% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
