Question 1

What do vandalism 2017 DODGE CHARGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 40 recorded sales of the 2017 DODGE CHARGER with vandalism damage, the median was $8,200, from $4,100 to $15,000. That is 69% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2017 DODGE CHARGER?

Accepted Answer

1275 comparable 2017 DODGE CHARGER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,225 to $11,350. At $8,600 this one went 77% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This DODGE CHARGER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE CHARGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 DODGE CHARGER's pre-damage retail value at $27,750. It sold for $8,600 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this DODGE CHARGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 DODGE CHARGER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 83,369 miles high for a 2017 DODGE CHARGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 DODGE CHARGER listings at auction averaged 106,666 miles across 1275 sales, so at 83,369 miles this one sits 22% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
