Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $7,000, from $3,200 to $18,900. That is 40% above the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

1007 comparable 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,250 to $10,200. At $3,450 this one went 31% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 117,320 miles high for a 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 DODGE CHALLENGER listings at auction averaged 99,280 miles across 1007 sales, so at 117,320 miles this one sits 18% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This DODGE CHALLENGER has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
