Question 1

What do rear end 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 135 recorded sales of the 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER with rear end damage, the median was $4,550, from $3,200 to $13,000. That is 11% below the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

1430 comparable 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,250 to $15,000. At $3,450 this one went 32% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE CHALLENGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER's pre-damage retail value at $12,384. It sold for $3,450 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

Is 115,842 miles high for a 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER listings at auction averaged 93,672 miles across 1430 sales, so at 115,842 miles this one sits 24% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 DODGE CHALLENGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
