Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $8,500, from $5,100 to $20,900. That is 55% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $28,500 a good price for this 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

1975 comparable 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,450 to $12,400. At $28,500 this one went 418% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This DODGE CHALLENGER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE CHALLENGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER's pre-damage retail value at $77,143. It sold for $28,500 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 21,948 miles high for a 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER listings at auction averaged 79,634 miles across 1975 sales, so at 21,948 miles this one sits 72% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
