Question 1

What do front end 2022 DODGE CHALLENGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 772 recorded sales of the 2022 DODGE CHALLENGER with front end damage, the median was $7,000, from $3,750 to $14,800. That is 8% below the $7,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2022 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

1541 comparable 2022 DODGE CHALLENGER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,600, spanning $4,050 to $16,750. At $5,500 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this DODGE CHALLENGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - EAST DUNDEE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This DODGE CHALLENGER has front end and left rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 DODGE CHALLENGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 14,609 miles high for a 2022 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 DODGE CHALLENGER listings at auction averaged 45,537 miles across 1541 sales, so at 14,609 miles this one sits 68% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
