Question 1

What do rear end 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 137 recorded sales of the 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER with rear end damage, the median was $6,250, from $3,850 to $12,500. That is 1% above the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

1302 comparable 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,650 to $14,900. At $8,500 this one went 37% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this DODGE CHALLENGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER's pre-damage retail value at $21,061. It sold for $8,500 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 55,834 miles high for a 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 DODGE CHALLENGER listings at auction averaged 68,896 miles across 1302 sales, so at 55,834 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this DODGE CHALLENGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MN - HAM LAKE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
