Question 1

Was $9,000 a good price for this 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA?

Accepted Answer

1966 comparable 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,400, spanning $3,150 to $7,700. At $9,000 this one went 105% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this CHRYSLER PACIFICA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA's pre-damage retail value at $29,331. It sold for $9,000 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a cert of title-salvage vehicle mean for this CHRYSLER PACIFICA?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA was sold on a cert of title-salvage vehicle. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this CHRYSLER PACIFICA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - DETROIT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 37,526 miles high for a 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA listings at auction averaged 97,898 miles across 1966 sales, so at 37,526 miles this one sits 62% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
