Question 1

What do hail 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 129 recorded sales of the 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA with hail damage, the median was $4,650, from $3,300 to $9,100. That is 15% above the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,500 a good price for this 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA?

Accepted Answer

2389 comparable 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,050, spanning $3,150 to $6,900. At $10,500 this one went 159% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title-salvage title mean for this CHRYSLER PACIFICA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA was sold on a cert of title-salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this CHRYSLER PACIFICA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IA - DES MOINES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,000 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $650-$950, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 64,784 miles high for a 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA listings at auction averaged 105,673 miles across 2389 sales, so at 64,784 miles this one sits 39% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
