Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,300, from $3,000 to $6,100. That is 23% above the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,150 a good price for this 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

174 comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX listings sold at auction for a median of $3,500, spanning $3,050 to $5,100. At $9,150 this one went 161% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This CHEVROLET TRAX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clear mean for this CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 26,207 miles high for a 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TRAX listings at auction averaged 62,528 miles across 174 sales, so at 26,207 miles this one sits 58% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
