Question 1

What do undercarriage 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 46 recorded sales of the 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX with undercarriage damage, the median was $7,500, from $4,700 to $11,400. That is 19% above the $6,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

4491 comparable 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,300, spanning $3,750 to $10,000. At $8,700 this one went 38% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this CHEVROLET TRAX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - BERGEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 10,299 miles high for a 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX listings at auction averaged 15,903 miles across 4491 sales, so at 10,299 miles this one sits 35% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2025 CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
