Question 1

What do rear 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 155 recorded sales of the 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX with rear damage, the median was $5,775, from $3,850 to $8,250. That is 2% above the $5,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

3446 comparable 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX listings sold at auction for a median of $5,650, spanning $3,600 to $8,800. At $8,000 this one went 42% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this CHEVROLET TRAX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in LA - GREENWOOD. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This CHEVROLET TRAX has rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 12,189 miles high for a 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX listings at auction averaged 28,660 miles across 3446 sales, so at 12,189 miles this one sits 57% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
