Question 1

What do front end 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1050 recorded sales of the 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE with front end damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,150 to $5,700. That is 5% below the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,675 a good price for this 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

2368 comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,050, spanning $3,150 to $6,200. At $7,675 this one went 90% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 80,157 miles high for a 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE listings at auction averaged 111,761 miles across 2368 sales, so at 80,157 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
