Question 1

What does a bill of sale mean for this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

How far is this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - SPOKANE VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 134,627 miles high for a 2016 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE listings at auction averaged 91,193 miles across 122 sales, so at 134,627 miles this one sits 48% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1GNKVFKD2GJ177268?

Accepted Answer

1GNKVFKD2GJ177268 identifies this specific 2016 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE in black with a 3.6l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, 281hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
