Question 1

This CHEVROLET TRAVERSE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a on-irreparable-ontario mean for this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE was sold on a on-irreparable-ontario. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 71,458 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE listings at auction averaged 90,752 miles across 241 sales, so at 71,458 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this CHEVROLET TRAVERSE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - LONDON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE was listed at IAAI as lot 12339535 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
