Question 1

What do front end 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 529 recorded sales of the 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE with front end damage, the median was $6,038, from $3,650 to $9,700. That is 11% below the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This CHEVROLET TAHOE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this CHEVROLET TAHOE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - DONNA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 118,219 miles high for a 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 113,685 miles across 1347 sales, so at 118,219 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 CHEVROLET TAHOE was listed at IAAI as lot 41219954 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
