Question 1

What do left front 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 47 recorded sales of the 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE with left front damage, the median was $5,850, from $4,000 to $9,250. That is 5% below the $6,188 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,300 a good price for this 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

1510 comparable 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,188, spanning $3,650 to $10,450. At $7,300 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this CHEVROLET TAHOE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - PERRIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 89,023 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 127,682 miles across 1510 sales, so at 89,023 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
