Question 1

What do hail 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 76 recorded sales of the 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE with hail damage, the median was $7,600, from $4,000 to $12,600. That is 39% above the $5,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,800 a good price for this 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

1644 comparable 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,450, spanning $3,450 to $8,875. At $3,800 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 127,989 miles high for a 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 143,969 miles across 1644 sales, so at 127,989 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This CHEVROLET TAHOE has hail and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
