Question 1

What do left front 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 37 recorded sales of the 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE with left front damage, the median was $5,125, from $3,500 to $8,000. That is 6% below the $5,438 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

1679 comparable 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,438, spanning $3,450 to $8,800. At $3,900 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this CHEVROLET TAHOE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - RANCHO CORDOVA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 151,328 miles high for a 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 144,104 miles across 1679 sales, so at 151,328 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
