Question 1

What do front end 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 632 recorded sales of the 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE with front end damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,550 to $9,300. That is 4% below the $6,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,525 a good price for this 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

1465 comparable 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,150, spanning $3,650 to $10,400. At $3,525 this one went 43% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 221,117 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE listings at auction averaged 127,924 miles across 1465 sales, so at 221,117 miles this one sits 73% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET TAHOE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Where was this CHEVROLET TAHOE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in AK - WASILLA. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
