Question 1

What do left side 2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 86 recorded sales of the 2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU with left side damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,150 to $6,450. That is 4% above the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this CHEVROLET MALIBU from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - CASEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

This CHEVROLET MALIBU has left side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 1 miles high for a 2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU listings at auction averaged 64,155 miles across 2341 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2022 CHEVROLET MALIBU was listed at IAAI as lot 42419182 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
