Question 1

What do flood 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU with flood damage, the median was $7,500, from $3,475 to $9,500. That is 13% below the $8,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

1164 comparable 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU listings sold at auction for a median of $8,600, spanning $3,650 to $13,200. At $8,000 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this CHEVROLET MALIBU from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - HOUSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 18,005 miles high for a 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU listings at auction averaged 23,251 miles across 1164 sales, so at 18,005 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
