Question 1

What do rear 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 56 recorded sales of the 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU with rear damage, the median was $8,600, from $3,700 to $13,200. That is level with the $8,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,600 a good price for this 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

1203 comparable 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU listings sold at auction for a median of $8,600, spanning $3,650 to $13,200. At $3,600 this one went 58% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this CHEVROLET MALIBU from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 16,008 miles high for a 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 CHEVROLET MALIBU listings at auction averaged 23,819 miles across 1203 sales, so at 16,008 miles this one sits 33% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
