Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,675, from $3,150 to $10,000. That is 34% above the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this CHEVROLET MALIBU from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 163,329 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU listings at auction averaged 85,631 miles across 617 sales, so at 163,329 miles this one sits 91% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1G1ZE5ST6HF263978?

Accepted Answer
