Question 1

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 2

This CHEVROLET EQUINOX has left front and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 138,995 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX listings at auction averaged 73,380 miles across 480 sales, so at 138,995 miles this one sits 89% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 2GNALDEK7H6209453?

Accepted Answer

2GNALDEK7H6209453 identifies this specific 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, regular , 182hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX was listed at IAAI as lot 46355300 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
