Question 1

What do front end 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 738 recorded sales of the 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO with front end damage, the median was $5,100, from $3,400 to $10,225. That is 9% below the $5,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,900 a good price for this 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO?

Accepted Answer

1756 comparable 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO listings sold at auction for a median of $5,600, spanning $3,500 to $11,200. At $6,900 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this CHEVROLET CAMARO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO's pre-damage retail value at $24,978. It sold for $6,900 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this CHEVROLET CAMARO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - ELGIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 61,179 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO listings at auction averaged 89,567 miles across 1756 sales, so at 61,179 miles this one sits 32% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
