Question 1

What do left side 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 55 recorded sales of the 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO with left side damage, the median was $6,150, from $3,800 to $8,500. That is 10% above the $5,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,200 a good price for this 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO?

Accepted Answer

1795 comparable 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO listings sold at auction for a median of $5,600, spanning $3,550 to $11,150. At $6,200 this one went 11% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This CHEVROLET CAMARO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this CHEVROLET CAMARO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - LEXINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 196,806 miles high for a 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO listings at auction averaged 89,713 miles across 1795 sales, so at 196,806 miles this one sits 119% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
