Question 1

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO?

Accepted Answer

1217 comparable 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO listings sold at auction for a median of $6,350, spanning $3,800 to $14,900. At $6,500 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage certificate-hi mean for this CHEVROLET CAMARO?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO was sold on a salvage certificate-hi. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This CHEVROLET CAMARO has vandalized and roof damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 82,082 miles high for a 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO listings at auction averaged 74,540 miles across 1217 sales, so at 82,082 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this CHEVROLET CAMARO located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in HI - KEAAU. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
