Question 1

Was $6,200 a good price for this 2020 BUICK ENVISION?

Accepted Answer

409 comparable 2020 BUICK ENVISION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,250 to $6,500. At $6,200 this one went 48% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BUICK ENVISION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 BUICK ENVISION's pre-damage retail value at $16,880. It sold for $6,200 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this BUICK ENVISION?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BUICK ENVISION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 BUICK ENVISION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 128,577 miles high for a 2020 BUICK ENVISION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BUICK ENVISION listings at auction averaged 56,072 miles across 409 sales, so at 128,577 miles this one sits 129% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 BUICK ENVISION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was GM FINANCIAL. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
