Question 1

What do rear 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX with rear damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,250 to $4,525. That is level with the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX?

Accepted Answer

406 comparable 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,150 to $5,500. At $3,900 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BUICK ENCORE GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 36,697 miles high for a 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX listings at auction averaged 59,156 miles across 406 sales, so at 36,697 miles this one sits 38% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this BUICK ENCORE GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - ODESSA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
